VITO (Flemish institute for technological research) is a leading independent European researchand consulting centre developing sustainable technologies in the area of energy, environment, materials and remote sensing.
VITO counts approximately 550 highly qualified employees from diverse specialisations and collaborates with research centres, universities, colleges and European research institutes. In 2009 VITO was counting on a budget of 88 M€, with a contribution by contract research of 46 M€.
In the present project the Ceramic and Powder Metallurgy group (KMP, part of the Unit Materials MAT) and the Ceramic Membrane group (part of the Unit Separation and Conversion Technology, both within the group Industrial Innovation INDI) will be involved.
