Department of Energy Conversion and Storage is a department at the Technical University of Denmark – DTU with approximately 230 employees. DTU’s hallmarks are large strategic research and development projects and research quality at international level. Department of Energy Conversion and Storage carries out research and development on advanced materials for energy efficient technologies.
The main topic is Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC). In addition the department is pursuing a number of related research areas, such as high temperature electrolysis, ceramic oxygen transport membranes, electrochemical flue gas purification, and magnetic cooling.
